The iPhone upgrade program for Apple’s iPhones has gotten a boost as the company announced an additional 30 million iPhones will be available through a new online store.
The iPhone Upgrade Program is a free service available to Apple customers who want to upgrade to a new model of the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, and will offer them free devices ranging from the latest Apple iPhone to the iPhone X.
The program is expected to hit stores later this year and offer customers the ability to upgrade from an iPhone 5s to an iPhone 6s, and also from a 5s or 5c to a 5c+.
Apple plans to offer additional iPhones through its third-party retailers, and customers can buy new iPhones through their Apple retail stores.
The new program will be able to offer iPhone upgrades to customers with existing Apple accounts, Apple Watch owners, and Apple Music subscribers.
Apple has been steadily rolling out new iPhones, with the company rolling out the iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 6, iPhone 7, iPhone 8, iPhone 9, iPhone X, iPhone 10, and iPhone 11 devices.
It also announced a new iPhone 6S, iPhone SE, iPhone E8, iPhone M8, and the iPhone SE Plus.
Apple announced last week that it will offer a limited number of iPhone upgrade programs for new customers, with each iPhone offering an iPhone SE or iPhone SEPlus upgrade option, with new iPhones getting an iPhone X upgrade as well.
Apple will also offer a discounted iPhone X and iPhone XS options for existing customers, and there will be iPhone upgrades for the new iPhone X with a 1TB storage option.
