Ars Technicast has learned that Amazon Smile has been temporarily removed from the Marketplace.
The program was removed due to an update to Amazon’s software, according to the program’s Twitter account.
However, the program remains available through the Amazon Marketplace.
It’s unclear why Amazon has decided to take down the program.
In an earlier tweet, Amazon said the update would be deployed to “all new products on Amazon” within 24 hours.
However it has not yet delivered the software update.
Amazon said that while the update had been “planned for a while,” it “does not happen every day.”
We will update if we hear back from Amazon.
